What one attendee said,

"Nicolette is a wonderful teacher and much of what I took away from the training was from her embodied example of holding space so clearly and kindly. Four days very well spent. Thank you for hosting this fantastic CPD and I will definitely recommend it within my network." CS

Are You Feeling Emotionally Derailed

From Your Creative Vision?

As a creative, your work is centred around your creative passion because it’s what you LOVE to do, right?

But have you recently found yourself questioning your creative abilities plus doubting your self-worth?

Do you feel like you’ve lost your ‘why’ and often witness your inner dialogue turning against you?

Perhaps you’re spending copious amounts of time worrying about your creative endeavours and where it might (not) lead to?

Well, whatever you think is true but have you considered using this to your advantage so that you can create life on your own terms?

A life:

  • Without feelings of overwhelm that debilitate you?

  • Where your work and play are aligned with your passions?

  • Where self-expression creates emotional freedom rather than feelings of being held emotionally captive?

Hi there, I’m Nicolette and thanks for visiting my ‘Work With’ page.

I’m a psychotherapist and coach trained in psychology, psychotherapy, counselling, Emotional Intelligence, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), Positive Psychology, Body Oriented Coaching, Transformational Coaching and Master Coaching amongst other therapeutic trainings. I am also an accredited international mediator and a member of IMI (International Mediation Institute).

Over the years, I have gained a plethora of knowledge and understanding regarding mindfulness, meditation and body & mind connection from over 10 year’s teaching experience as a Senior Yoga Teacher (SYT500).

In addition to this, my training as a dancer has effectively complimented the integral need for grounding and body awareness required to underpin my daily living.

I created The Creative Genius to help you shift from feeling dis-empowered and un-inspired to courageously connecting with your in-tuitive self. Our work together can assist you in building confidence to cultivate self-trust, live in the present moment, develop healthier relationships resulting in your ability to take action, make life-changing decisions and connect with emotions you’ve either found challenging to process or have repeatedly refused to accept.

But don’t take my word for it… See Happy Clients.

I feel honoured to have been invited to work with organisations and/or their artists like Breakin’ Convention/Sadler’s Wells, East London Dance, Dancer’s Career Development (DCD), One Dance UK (ODUK), Russell Maliphant Dance Company, Olivier Award Nominee for Cabaret Choreography Julia Cheng, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, singer/songwriter Byron Gold and at performing arts schools including Trinity Laban, Arts Ed, London and Associated Studios, London.

I am the Chair for East London Dance’s (ELD) Creative Collective, an Advisory Board of freelance artists that meet every two months and play a vital part in shaping and influencing ELD’s arts programming, content and policies.

If you’re a creative feeling depressed, anxious, angry, afraid, stuck or living with unresolved trauma then it’s likely that some, if not all areas of your creativity are being negatively impacted.

If you feel like it’s time to strengthen your identity, master your emotions and funnel your creativity into something that inspires both you and those you serve, then I’d love to hear from you.
