Are You Feeling Emotionally Derailed

From Your Creative Vision?

As a creative, your work is centred around your creative passion because it’s what you LOVE to do, right?

But have you recently found yourself questioning your creative abilities plus doubting your self-worth?

Do you feel like you’ve lost your ‘why’ and often witness your inner dialogue turning against you?

Perhaps you’re spending copious amounts of time worrying about your creative endeavours and where it might (not) lead to?

Well, whatever you think is true but have you considered using this to your advantage so that you can create life on your own terms?

A life:

  • Without feelings of overwhelm that debilitate you?

  • Where your work and play are aligned with your passions?

  • Where self-expression creates emotional freedom rather than feelings of being held emotionally captive?

Hi there, I’m Nicolette and thanks for visiting my ‘Work With’ page.

I’m a psychotherapist and coach trained in psychology, psychotherapy, counselling, Emotional Intelligence, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), Somatic Coaching, Transformational Coaching and Master Coaching.

As a Senior Yoga Teacher (SYT) with over 10 year’s teaching experience, I have also gained a plethora of knowledge and understanding regarding mindfulness, meditation and body & mind connection.

To support this, my training as a dancer effectively compliment the need for grounding and body awareness required to underpin daily living.

I created The Creative Genius to help you shift from feeling dis-empowered and uninspired to courageously connecting with your intuitive self. Our work together can assist you in building confidence, cultivating self-trust, living in the present moment, developing healthier relationships, making life-changing decisions and connecting with emotions you’ve previously refused to accept.

But don’t take my word for it… See Happy Clients.

I feel honoured to have been invited to work with organisations and/or their artists like Breakin’ Convention, East London Dance, Dancer’s Career Development (DCD), One Dance UK, Russell Maliphant Dance Company, Olivier Award Nominee for Cabaret Choreography Julia Cheng, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and performing arts schools including Arts Ed, London and Associated Studios, London.

If you’re a creative feeling depressed, anxious, angry, afraid, stuck or living with unresolved trauma it’s likely that some, if not all areas of your creativity are being negatively impacted.

If you feel like it’s time to strengthen your identity, master your emotions and funnel your creativity into something that inspires both you and those you serve, then I’d love to hear from you.

The Difference Between Coaching and Therapy

Whilst you’re here, you might be wondering about the differences between coaching and therapy. I’d love to shed some light.

Coaching = a focus on the client’s actions and results. This approach is very much goal-orientated with an emphasis on the ‘how’ of achieving goals. It also identifies problematic behaviours for modification so that goals can be fulfilled.

Therapy = helps the client explore and understand their subconscious and unconscious mind with a focus on the past as a tool to understanding present behaviours to support future actions. This approach is directed towards the ‘why’ of behavioural patterns.

It’s important to understand that engaging in either coaching or therapy sessions does not come from a place of illness, negativity or being wrong.

Instead, it comes from a place of self-responsibility, ownership of life and the understanding that all living/moving entities need care and attention - inside and out.

Whichever course of action you choose, both services work to support you in creating positive changes within your life, including professional and personal relationships, decision-making and simply just getting things done!
